BD-P1600 Solid playerStrengths: Fast disc read upon loading. Picture quality of Netflix HD streaming is decent. Would purchase again. Weakness: Flipping scenes in Netflix streaming. See comments for details. The forward/rewind/pause buttons on the netflix streaming has a very delayed response, can be very annoying, and needs user experience to adjust to the timing of the remote-to-player response. Granted that the video source is streaming, I am expecting a bit of a delay, but this player somehow extends the delay a bit longer. Pile of CrapStrengths: Nice picture Weakness: USB 1.1 (not 2.0), Have to buy special Samsung wireless NIC. Issues with player not accepting input from remote control. I have had periodic trouble with this machine. There is some type of software bug that it does not accept input from the remote control. I thought a firmware upgrade would work but to no avail. I have been able to get around it but it finally crapped out me. I have been in discussions with Samsung to find out that I will have to pay $50 to get it fixed.
